Comcraft Mod Loader


Comcraft Mod Loader is a project for allowing mods to load into Comcraft. It was created by simon816 (GitHub profile simon816) and is still under development.

Comcraft Mod Loader allows you to create mods using a friendly JavaScript language. It uses a JavaScript parser called MINIJOE, "Minimal Javascript Object Environment". It implements the ECMA-262 Standard except from these differences. Check out the Getting Started guide for more information.

You can easily place all your mods in a comcraft/mods/ directory on your SD card or internal memory. Check out the tutorial.

    Thanks for this post Queader! Now I've got to get on and implement more API objects, if anyone has any ideas, code suggestions etc. I would like to here from you and we can make this loader better. (there are limitations at the moment like I can't get prototyping to work)

    There is a problem with your mod!
    It dosent load files when you get in the mods function!
    Import something in the classes like:
    import java.lang.IOExeption,... I DONT KNOW WHATS THE PROBLEM!PLS FIX!

      Make sure you have the latest version from the downloads page Run the game once to select the comcraft folder then close and reopen the game. The mods folder should be in there by the second run

      After some testing I found out the mods folder will not create if a comcraft installation was present before. I will fix this shortly (look out for version 0.2_01)

      If you have read the latest news I posted, the next release will load resources too. This will allow for more possibilities but some things like texture packs are already possible

      Thats great! Also, new IDE (version 0.4) is must improved and more robust so to any developers I recommend giving it a try. It uses the new .mod system though currently not supported by ComcraftML (will be in comcraft mod loader 0.3)

    Simon when I tried the comcraft server on my PC, 1st time it was loading the world and then blocked. The 2nd time it wasn't working at all. What's the problem? ):

      U must delete the world :/, or something like that, it is written in the tutorial
      "Regenerate world with new options by changing server.properties and delete level.info and world.data"

      kaymex, no that feature is not implemented. It is unlikely I'll be able to make survival aspects while keeping the game playable (too much lag). But it could be possible, if I decide to try it out.
