How to: make texturepack?



It isn't difficult to make your own texturepack and the entire texturepacks' system is very similar to that known from Minecraft :)

Download sample texturepack: https://dl.dropbox.com/s/sd3vvtwmr9dz2a1/Comcraft_0.4_Texturepack.zip?dl=1

  • Folder name - texturepack's name
  • info.txt - this file contains informations about texturepack:
    • 1st line - texturepack description
    • 2nd line - texturepack screen width (eg. 240)
    • 3rd line -  texturepack screen height (eg. 320)

    Then, edit the textures as you want!

    Place the finished texturepack in texturepacks folder, that is located in the main directory of the comcraft.

        What format should the folder be. Zip,rar,etc

        It should be the normal folder (without extension).

        Are you sure that you placed info.txt file with correct screen reolution in the texturepack folder?

        You were right. I thought my phone was a 240x320 but it is actually 240x400. Thank you.

        Yes, but HD textures may cause Out of memory error.

        you need to open comcraft with winrar or any program with the same funtion, once you are inside, looks for the file "terrain.png", copy it in a folder, and then edit the textures as you want :D

        Note: Sorry if you dont inderstand me, Im mexican.
